He's a Faker

Initially, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg declined to retreat from her earlier criticism of Donald Trump.
She said: "He is a faker.  He has no consistency about him. He says whatever comes into his head at the moment.  He really has an ego. ... How has he gotten away with not turning over his tax returns?  The press seems to be very gentle with him on that."

Ginsburg had admonished Trump to The Associated Press and New York Times in recent interviews.  She said: "I can't imagine what this place would be -- I can't imagine what the country would be -- with Donald Trump as our president." 

Trump responded by telling The New York Times: "I think it's highly inappropriate that a United States Supreme Court judge gets involved in a political campaign, frankly.  I think it's a disgrace to the court and I think she should apologize to the court, I couldn't believe it when I saw it."

He later tweeted: "Justice Ginsburg of the U.S. Supreme Court has embarrassed all by making very dumb political statements about me.  Her mind is shot - resign!"

The 83-year-old justice had expressed no regret for the comments.  She noted: “At first I thought it was funny.  To think that there's a possibility that he could be president.  I think he has gotten so much free publicity.  Every other presidential candidate has turned over tax returns."

Trump told the Associated Press he probably won’t be releasing any returns before November.  However, in 1973, President Nixon publicly released his returns while they were under audit.  Trump’s tax returns are allegedly already being audited, so what’s the problem.

Most recently, Justice Ginsburg said:"On reflection, my recent remarks in response to press inquiries were ill-advised and I regret making them.  Judges should avoid commenting on a candidate for public office.  In the future I will be more circumspect."
